Now starring in Grimm, a fantasical mystery/crime show on NBC, Russell Hornsby was scheduled to talk about his diverse experience in films, TV and on stage. However, he was unexpectedly called in to film a scene for the new series. Host Betty Jo Tucker and producer Nikki Starr discussed two recently released movies, This Means War and Rampart, instead.
Hornsby's movie credits include Get Rich or Die Tryin', Forgiven, Meet the Parents, Edmond, Big Fat Liar, Train Ride and Stuck. He also boasts impressive work in numerous TV series like Lincoln Heights, In Treatment and The Good Wife. On stage, he has appeared as the Scarecrow in The Wiz and recently played alongside Denzel Washington and Viola Davie on Broadway in Fences.
